Cheryl has also claimed she was feeling terribly homesick whilst in America and it is rumoured that there may still be a space for her on the UK X-factor judging panel.

Danni quits X factor

Danni Minogue has announced she is leaving her judging role on the UK X factor panel just days before they were due start filming auditions.
Rumour has it that she did not go as willingly as it first seemed (she had blamed a clash with Australia's Got Talent for her leaving) but instead she was forced to quit the show by producers.

It is thought that N-Dubz's Tulisa will be replacing either Danni or Cheryl on the judging panel.

Gary's got the job...or has he?

As he arrived for filming at the US X factor, Simon Cowell sparked panic in the UK as confirmed that lead singer of Take That; Gary Barlow, will be replacing him on the judging panel on the UK X factor joining returning judges Dani Minogue and Louis Walsh. However, TV producers behind the UK version of the show were quick to deny the claim, saying that Gary was not confirmed to be replacing Simon in the hotseat.

So, has Gary got the job? It seems only time will tell.

Sad News For Kelly

Terribly sad news for Kelly Brooke this morning as we hear that she is recovering at home after miscarrying her baby girl 5 months into her pregnancy. She has asked for her privacy to be respected during this difficult time.

Britan's got the X-factor!

Not only is our very own Cheryl Cole now a judge on the panel of the US version of the X-factor, but fellow Brit hunk Steve Jones is also co-presenting the show alongside Nicole Scherzinger.

Mr Cowell clearly knew he was on to a winner with Steve Jones, but his reputation preceeded him and Simon was worried about bad press from stories of behind the scenes X-factor, so Steve Jones has been told to reign in his womanising with a special clause written into his contract that he is not to fool around with any of the numerous attractive women on the show.

Cheryl's day of up's and down's

First she was knocked off the top spot of the Sunday Times Music Rich List, and then also pushed out of first place in FHM's World's Sexiest Woman poll by Rosie Huntingdon - Whiteley; the 5th May did look like it was going to be a good day for Cheryl Cole.

However, later today, after months of rumour and media hype, it was finally confirmed that Cheryl would taking one of the seats on the judging panel of the US X-factor.
This is great news for Cheryl as it means she can focus more on her career and on becoming a hit on the other side of the pond, and finally be able to move on from her ex-husband Ashley Cole - being busy in LA will certainly keep her from the temptation to text him again!

So from all Cheryl's fan's, conratulations and good luck!
